System Recommendations and Requirements – Motorcity Systems

Screen Resolution

Motorcity Systems (MCS) applications have been developed to be responsive and flexible for the optimal user experience.

We recommend that a user's computer monitor resolution be at least 1280 pixels or wider to minimize horizontal scrolling. Grids and logs are the exceptions to this rule often featuring a range of columns exceeding 1280 pixels, requiring minimal horizontal scrolling.

Pages vary in length and require vertical scrolling, therefore there are no recommendations for screen height.

TORQUE Client

Integrations with third-party apps and systems are managed with TORQUE. Current requirements for the TORQUE Client include,

Web Browsers

MCS applications may be accessed with a modern web browser and internet connection. The applications work best with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium, and Mozilla Firefox browsers. Other common browsers such as Apple Safari and Opera may be used but are not formally tested and may result in inconsistent behavior.
